This is a gorgeous edition of the Poetical Works of John Milton with beautiful illustrations published c. 1880. Condition: Excellent. The front cover is in almost perfect condition with only some slight fading and shelf wear around the edges and some tearing at the corners. The front cover has beautiful engravings and a gold label with the name of the author. The side is in good condition with some slight discoloration and a little shelf wear. The back has some scuffs and scratches and some shelf wear and slight tearing at the corners and along the outside. The binding is cracked and some pages are a little loose and some of the pages have some staining. There are some small pencil marks on the inside but the edges of the pages are gilded gold, beautifully matching the front cover. Published by George Routledge and Sons c. 1880.
