This is a beautiful, illustrated edition of The Poetical Works of John Milton published in the nineteenth century. Condition: Good. The front cover is beautifully engraved but has some staining and scuffs. The side of the book has some slight fading and scratches and there is some shelf wear on the edges and some bends. The edges of the book have some small tears and the corners are bent and have a few rips. The back of the book has some fading and scratching. The book is beautifully gilded and matches the gold engravings on the front cover. The binding is in great condition and is a little stiff. The pages are in very good condition with a little staining. The signature of the previous owner is on the fourth blank page. Published by George Routledge and Sons in the 1880s.
